The Opportunity

We’re working with a forward-thinking creative studio in New York City that’s pushing boundaries in design, motion, and production. As a Sr 3D Designer & Art Director, you’ll collaborate closely with Creative Directors and teams of artists to craft a strong artistic vision and guide projects from concept to delivery. This is an opportunity to lead from the front, inspire a team, and shape the visual identity of work that challenges industry standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading art direction and maintaining creative quality across multiple projects
• Working closely with Creative Directors and senior leadership to shape the studio’s creative vision.
• Providing hands-on guidance in 3D (C4D or Houdini) while managing schedules and budgets.
• Mentoring, inspiring, and growing the creative team in alignment with studio values.
• Ensuring the highest standards of design, motion, and production are consistently met.
• Developing innovative content that elevates both project outcomes and the studio’s brand in the industry.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in leading 3D design projects, with a background at highly regarded studios (freelance or full-time).
• Strong technical proficiency in C4D or Houdini with a design-centric mindset.
• A balance of artistry and commercial pragmatism.
• Curiosity and a spirit of experimentation at the core of your creative process.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams effectively.
